Serving the Wake Community at Nautique Nationals
After an incredible week of competition at Nautique Wakesurf & Wakeboard Nationals in Boca Raton, Florida, Wake Church provided a meaningful opportunity to end the event by gathering as a community to worship and grow in faith.
Throughout the week, our mission team served athletes, families, and industry members, building relationships and creating opportunities to share the love of Christ both on and off the water. From conversations on the docks to moments of encouragement throughout the event, God opened countless doors for connection and ministry.
On the final day of Nationals, more than 50 people joined us for Wake Church. It was an encouraging time of worship, fellowship, and a message from Mark Heger that challenged everyone to consider the difference between earning success and receiving God's grace.
Mark Heger reminded attendees that every athlete came to Nationals believing they could win and willing to work hard to compete at the highest level. But our relationship with God is completely different. We don't earn salvation through our efforts because Jesus has already done the work. Through faith in Him, salvation is a free gift of grace (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:23–24).
We're grateful for everyone who served, attended, and prayed for this event. Thank you for helping us continue our mission of sharing the love of Jesus throughout the wake community. We can't wait to see what God does at the next event.
