Separation. While we wakeboard, wakeskate, and wakesurf, we are only focused on what is happening above the water. We very rarely think about the world below the water's surface. We ride on a thin layer of liquid that separates us from the unknown depths beneath us. And while staying above "the unknown" can be

Always Prepared

Always prepared. How often do you drive around with your board in your car? For me, I rarely ever take my board out of my car. Because if anyone calls me and says, "We're about to go out on the water" I want to make sure that I am always ready to matter

Conformity. The world of wakeboarding can sometimes look very uniform. But there are a few guys that just ride different than everyone else. West Coast guys like @vandallharris or @joshtwelker or @jacobvldz all have a unique style that gives the sport of wakeboarding a breath of fresh air. The @shredtown crew has continued to push

The Well

As wakeboarders, wakeskaters, wakesurfers, most of us are constantly surrounded by water. We love the water and we find ourselves searching for "the best water" time and time again. But even when we are victorious in our search and we actually find PERFECT conditions, we are still left wanting more. Our hunger/thirst for smooth water is

Fire vs Water

Typically, fire and water do not mix...unless you are doing cool photoshoots. But here is a little science lesson for you... Water is made up of very organized

Why WakeWell?

Here is the audio from a sermon given by our National Director, Mark Heger, at our 2015 National Wake Conference.  The sermon discusses why WakeWell is necessary, how we came up with the name "WakeWell", and how Jesus modeled relational ministry to us in the bible. The main points are: - Jesus was graciously Purposeful. -

No Stretch

By |2017-10-18T14:50:05-05:00June 2nd, 2015|Uncategorized|

Unlike cable wakeboarding, when you ride behind the boat you should always use a non-stretch rope. This helps you to create "load" and build up tension between you and the boat. A non-stretch rope NEVER changes its length no matter how hard you pull on it. The harder you pull, the deeper you get pushed
